What’s been happening:

My Penn State education and my valuable time spent with the Department of Landscape Architecture enabled me relocate to the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina for employment with an award-winning land planning and landscape architecture firm. Living, working, and playing in Asheville was a delight - I was blessed to find an authentic sense of community in a scenic area with four distinct seasons, all while working professionally in the fields of conservation-based land planning and design. I have since returned to Pennsylvania for full-time service with the Trail Town Outreach Corps. Our mission is to engage historic communities in rural Western PA for the purposes of sustainable economic revitalization and regional redevelopment. Specifically, I am able to assist these communities in shifting their economies in response to emerging opportunities in the heritage tourism and recreation tourism industries, largely defined by the Great Allegheny Passage - the first long-distance bike trail to be inducted into the Rails-to-Trails hall of fame.
